If you have a DSLR that you have been longing to put to better use, then you will definitely want to join me (Shadowlands Photography Owner/Photographer Lesa D. Van Meter) for my newest DSLR photography workshop — “Get Clicking Outdoors”. Classes will be held outdoors at different locations every Thursday night in September from 6-7:30pm.
I have been a professional photographer for over ten years and am passionate about teaching fellow photography lovers and hobbyists to “get out of auto” and to “get it right in the camera” instead of being reliant upon post-processing software to create amazing images.
During the workshop, students will have hands-on experiences to gain knowledge of Camera Modes, ISO, F-stop/Aperture, White Balance, Shutter Speed, Natural Lighting, Lenses and more. My curriculum for “Get Clicking Outdoors” is a result of fine tuning photography topics I have taught in years prior. It’s exciting, it’s hands-on, and it meets the needs of DSLR users who are not yet using their equipment to its full potential!
Pre-registration and the $99 workshop fee are due by Wednesday, September 4, 2013. In order to maintain an intimate Q&A environment, SPACES ARE LIMITED.
For the next 5 days, 8×10 Matte Prints are HALF OFF!
This is our most popular print size! Our professional quality high-end paper offers excellent skin tone reproduction and superb color image stability for long lasting prints.

I just love this adorable family.
I have had the privilege of working with sweet, beautiful Angie during one of high school senior portrait events (she does FAB makeup work!) and then Dave very generously let me use one of his vintage hot rods for another client’s session. 🙂 I’m off to another shoot but wanted to get this sneak preview up real quick first from their family portrait session last week.
To view the full proof gallery from Dave and Angie’s Family Portrait Session on ShadowlandsPhotography.biz, please contact them for permission to acquire the passcode.
You can find more pictures from this session (as well as lots of pictures from other clients’ sessions too) on Facebook.com/ShadowlandsPhotography and ShadowlandsPhotography.com. We are also on Twitter! @shadowlandsphot
